Anthony Mullins

GenMin Camps and Mission Trip leader

Anthony grew up in Kentucky. Following high school he entered Ambassador University in Big Sandy, Texas and focused his academic studies on Psychology and Theology. During his time at Ambassador, he was chosen to be a radio announcer for university sports on two local talk radio stations. He used that experience to land his first job as a radio host on a highly-rated station in Kentucky. In 1996, Anthony moved to Atlanta and began a sales career. Over the next several years, he worked his way up to sales management positions for companies that specialized in corporate event design and later as director of sales for a software development firm. He gained tremendous insight on leadership and organizational management by leading sales teams and by frequently meeting with and making presentations to top executives with companies around the country.

Anthony began serving as a youth pastor at Freedom Church in Kennesaw, Georgia and would volunteer in that position for nine years. During this time he would often speak at local high school chapters of Fellowship of Christians Athletes and was hired as a basketball coach at Walker School. In 2003 he was ordained and began serving as Assistant Pastor at Freedom Church where he continues today. At Freedom, he has ministered in youth ministry, preaching, worship leading, small group development and teaching in children's ministry. In 2003, Anthony started directing The Mountaintop youth camp in Temple, Georgia thus beginning his journey with camp ministry in GenMin. He served in that position until 2009 when he began taking on a larger role within GenMin. He now leads GenMin's Camp and Mission Trips ministry and has oversight of twenty youth camps and short-term mission trips. His role also includes being a national trainer for Journey with the Master, a GenMin program for young adults. Anthony is also certified to lead Sonlife Live 2/6 mentoring groups. His passion is coaching young believers into servant-leaders and helping ministry leaders train and outfit the next generation for their journey with Jesus.
